Dance/Movement Therapy:

Dance/movement therapy (d/mt) utilizes movement as it arises in the therapeutic relationship. Based on the premise that the body and mind are interrelated, the dance/movement therapist utilizes movement to further the cognitive, emotional, social and physical integration of the individual. D/MT is used with people from infancy into their senior years. It is especially useful, if someone has no words or is fearful to talk about what they are experiencing. www.adta.org
